LAUSANNE, Switzerland & SAN JOSE, Calif., September 24, 2025 (TECH INFO SCENE) — Technology company Logitech has announced the launch of the Signature Slim Solar+ K980 keyboard. The wireless keyboard is powered by Logitech’s Logi LightCharge technology, which enables charging from any light source.
The device is designed for uninterrupted use without cables or charging, operating up to four months in complete darkness once fully charged. It is available in consumer and business versions, with features including a full-size layout, laptop-style keys, customizable shortcuts, and compatibility with multiple operating systems and devices.
“Even the need to think about charging can be a distraction, so we designed Signature Slim Solar+ to take that off your plate completely. It stays powered by light – any light – clearing your desk of cables and eliminating the need to ever physically charge it, while bringing elegance and comfort to your workspace. That’s one less thing to worry about on a busy working day,” said Art O'Gnimh, General Manager of Core Products Group at Logitech.
The business version of the K980 includes secure connectivity with a Logi Bolt USB-C receiver and can be centrally monitored through Logitech Sync. Both versions feature a rechargeable battery with a lifespan of up to 10 years, aligning with the company’s sustainability initiatives.
The Signature Slim Solar+ K980 will be available globally beginning September 24, 2025. Pricing starts at $99.99 for the universal model and $109.99 for the business version through www.logitech.com and authorized resellers.
