According to Traini, the new capital will primarily be used to advance its artificial intelligence research, iterate on hardware and software products, and expand its market presence. Prior to this round, the company reported receiving investments from senior management at Google, Meta, and Palo Alto Networks, as well as institutional backing from FutureX Capital, BlueSea Partners, Mint Capital, and Valkyrie Fund.

Following the financing, Traini plans to launch its first consumer hardware product, a cognitive smart collar designed to analyze and interpret pet emotions and behavior in real time. The collar is built on generative AI and is intended to support two-way communication between dogs and their owners. The product is currently available for pre-order through the Traini app and website.

“Our mission is to develop an intelligence that reignites the natural instincts of our furry companions and builds a true spiritual bond between pets and their humans,” said Arvin Sun, founder of Traini.

Traini’s core technology platform, known as the Pet Empathic Behavior Interface (PEBI), uses multimodal data—including audio, video, images, and behavioral signals—to assess pets’ emotional and psychological states. Its models currently support nearly 120 dog breeds and are trained on behavioral data from more than 2 million dogs, along with insights drawn from hundreds of peer-reviewed studies in animal behavior.

Traini’s technology has applications beyond consumer use, including APIs for veterinary clinics, pet healthcare diagnostics, and integrations with hardware manufacturers. Traini also reported partnerships with smartphone and electric vehicle brands to enable pet communication through mobile and in-car systems.

Traini’s platform has already been used by more than 2 million dogs, with online video content exceeding 70 million views. The company also operates PetGPT and T-Agent, AI-powered tools focused on pet behavior analysis and product recommendations, and collaborates with tens of thousands of pet retail locations across the United States.
