TROY, Mich., May 16, 2025 (TECH INFO SCENE) — Data analytics company J.D. Power has announced the appointment of Joshua Peirez as its new President and Chief Executive Officer. Peirez will succeed Dave Habiger, who has been named Vice Chairman.
Peirez joins J.D. Power from Sterling Check Corp., where he served as CEO and Director since 2018. During his tenure, he led the company through its initial public offering in 2021 and its 2024 merger with First Advantage Corporation.
Under Habiger’s leadership, J.D. Power shifted from a benchmarking firm to a broader data and analytics provider, expanding its offerings in software and decisioning tools. During that time, the company tripled in size and grew its proprietary automotive data assets.
