Protolabs Appoints Suresh Krishna as President and CEO

MINNEAPOLIS, May 21, 2025 (TECH INFO SCENE) — Manufacturing technology company Protolabs has announced the appointment of Suresh Krishna as President and Chief Executive Officer. Krishna also joins the company’s Board of Directors. He succeeds Rob Bodor, who will serve in a consulting role during the transition.
Krishna most recently served as President and CEO of Northern Tool + Equipment, where he led operational and supply chain initiatives. His prior experience includes leadership roles at Sleep Number Corporation, Polaris Industries, and UTC Fire & Security.
Protolabs Board Chair Rainer Gawlick credited Bodor with leading the company’s capability expansion and network development and expressed confidence in Krishna’s ability to advance Protolabs’ strategic priorities.

Protolabs reaffirmed its second quarter 2025 financial outlook, maintaining projected revenue between $124.0 million and $132.0 million. The company also anticipates diluted net income per share between $0.11 and $0.19, and non-GAAP diluted net income per share between $0.30 and $0.38.
