Peloton Appoints Megan Imbres as Chief Marketing Officer and Promotes Francis Shanahan to Chief Technology Officer

NEW YORK, June 13, 2025 (TECH INFO SCENE) — Fitness technology company Peloton Interactive, Inc. has announced the appointment of Megan Imbres as Chief Marketing Officer and the promotion of Francis Shanahan to the newly created role of Chief Technology Officer.

Imbres will join Peloton on July 7, overseeing global brand and product marketing, growth marketing, creative, consumer insights, and member engagement. Imbres brings over 20 years of experience with direct-to-consumer brands and has held senior roles at companies including Apple, Netflix, Amazon Ads, and Quibi. She will report to Chief Executive Officer Peter Stern.

Shanahan, previously Senior Vice President of Connected Fitness Software, will now serve as Chief Technology Officer, reporting to Chief Product Officer Nick Caldwell. In his new role, Shanahan will lead Peloton’s engineering and technical teams, oversee the customer-facing AI innovation strategy, guide product architecture, and ensure scalable systems performance.
