Axelera AI Names New Executives to Support Regional and Legal Operations

EINDHOVEN, Netherlands, July 1, 2025 (TECH INFO SCENE) — Technology company Axelera AI has announced the expansion of its executive team with three appointments aimed at supporting the company’s continued growth. Marta Ostroumoff has been named Chief Financial Officer, Eke Bijzitter has joined as Head of Legal, and Chief Marketing Officer Alexis Crowell will now also serve as General Manager of the Americas.

According to the company, the leadership expansion follows increased global demand for its Metis AI platform and new grant funding secured through the European Union’s DARE initiative.

Ostroumoff previously served as CFO at Oxa, where she oversaw financial strategy and helped lead a $140 million Series C funding round. She brings experience in building global teams and executing strategic financial planning.

Bijzitter brings legal leadership experience from her 15-year tenure at Gemalto (now Thales Cybersecurity and Digital Identity). Her background includes corporate governance, M&A, and compliance within complex regulatory environments.

Crowell, who joined Axelera AI in October 2024, helped launch the Axelera AI Partner Acceleration Network and redesigned the company’s online presence. In her expanded role, she will lead commercial operations in the Americas and develop localized business strategies.
