F5 Appoints Former Commonwealth Bank Technology Executive Gavin Munroe to Board of Directors

SEATTLE, June 23, 2026, (TECH INFO SCENE) — Application security and delivery technology company F5, Inc. has appointed Gavin Munroe to its board of directors, effective June 17. Munroe will serve on the board's Audit and Risk committees.

Munroe most recently served as Chief Information Officer and Transformation Head at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, where he oversaw technology modernization, artificial intelligence initiatives, data and analytics, and operational resiliency efforts. He brings more than 25 years of technology leadership experience in the financial services sector.

Prior to Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Munroe served as Global Chief Information Officer for Wealth, Private and Retail Banking at HSBC. He has also held technology leadership positions with Bank of America/Merrill Lynch, Synechron, and Saxon, a division of Morgan Stanley.
