Logitech Introduces Rugged Combo 4c Keyboard Cases for iPad with USB-C Charging and Drop Protection

SAN JOSE, Calif. & LAUSANNE, Switzerland, May 8, 2026 (TECH INFO SCENE) — Technology company Logitech (SIX: LOGN) (NASDAQ: LOGI) has introduced the Rugged Combo 4c and Rugged Combo 4c Touch keyboard cases for iPad (A16) and iPad (10th generation), expanding its Rugged Combo portfolio designed for classroom environments.

The new cases feature a fully sealed keyboard and a dedicated USB-C connector that enables pass-through charging while simultaneously supporting a wired audio headset. The design is intended to support classroom use where audio-based learning and digital assessments are common.

“Rugged Combo 4c and Rugged Combo 4c Touch are designed to enhance teaching and learning. By incorporating feedback from educators, students and technology directors in the design process, we developed a solution that directly addresses key classroom needs, such as simultaneous charging and peripheral device use,” said Joseph Mingori, Vice President and General Manager of Mobile and Audio Solutions at Logitech.
According to Logitech, the Rugged Combo 4c offers drop protection up to 6.6 feet and has been backpack drop-tested 10,000 times. The case design allows Apple Pencil to magnetically attach while a latch secures it when not in use.
For IT administrators, the cases include a visible asset tag window and an integrated QR code for accessory serial number tracking to assist with large-scale device management.
Additional features include Smart Connector pairing, a sealed spill-resistant keyboard, four use modes—Type, View, Read and Sketch—and, in the Rugged Combo 4c Touch model, a multi-touch trackpad.
