Silicon Motion and MediaTek will present storage and computing technologies for AI-enabled automotive platforms during a joint keynote at FMS 2026.

TAIPEI, Taiwan, July 30, 2026, (VSNewsNetwork.com) — Semiconductor company Silicon Motion will join MediaTek for a keynote presentation on automotive storage technology at FMS 2026 in Santa Clara, California.

The presentation will feature MediaTek’s automotive cockpit platform using Silicon Motion storage technology designed to support the data processing requirements of AI-enabled vehicles.
The keynote, titled “Storage Powering Agentic AI Everywhere: From Physical Intelligence to Assured AI Infrastructure,” is scheduled for Aug. 4 from 2:20 p.m. to 2:50 p.m. at the Santa Clara Convention Center.
Speakers will include Stanley Huang, Associate Vice President of Edge SSD Business at Silicon Motion; Waheed Ahmed, Director of Automotive System Architecture at MediaTek; and Shamil Sharief, Senior Director of Enterprise Product Marketing at Silicon Motion.
The companies will discuss how automotive storage systems support vehicle computing, data management, performance and reliability as AI applications become more widely integrated into automotive platforms.
“As AI workloads become increasingly data-intensive, storage architecture has become the performance foundation for intelligent systems—from AI-defined vehicles to AI factories.
