JBL Unveils PartyBox 330 and PartyBox 130 With Upgraded Sound and Redesigned Light Shows

STAMFORD, Conn., May 12, 2026 (TECH INFO SCENE) — Audio brand JBL has introduced the JBL PartyBox 330 and JBL PartyBox 130, the latest additions to its portable party speaker lineup.

According to the company, the new models feature upgraded woofers and tweeter technology designed to deliver deeper bass and clearer high frequencies. Both speakers incorporate JBL’s AI Sound Boost and Smart EQ, which automatically adjust audio output based on the content being played.

JBL PartyBox 330
The PartyBox 330 delivers 280W RMS total output power and includes dual 6.5-inch woofers and twin 25mm PEN dome tweeters. JBL stated that the tweeter technology is adapted from its professional concert systems.
The speaker offers up to 18 hours of playtime, with a fast-charge feature providing approximately two hours of playback from a 10-minute charge. A replaceable battery is also available separately. Additional features include a telescopic locking handle, wide wheels for portability, IPX4 splash resistance, dual microphone and guitar inputs, USB-C lossless audio, optical input, Bluetooth 6.0, and Auracast™ multi-speaker connectivity.
JBL PartyBox 130
The PartyBox 130 delivers 200W RMS total output power and features dual 5.25-inch woofers and twin 25mm silk dome tweeters. It provides up to 15 hours of playtime, with a 10-minute fast charge offering up to 80 minutes of additional playback.
The speaker includes a foldable carry handle, IPX4 splash protection, dual microphone and guitar inputs, USB-C lossless audio, optical input, Bluetooth 6.0, Auracast™ connectivity, and compatibility with the JBL One App for device control.
Both models feature a redesigned lightshow with ripple light trails and strobe effects synchronized to the music.
JBL PartyBox 330 and JBL PartyBox 130 will be available for presale on June 7, 2026, at JBL.com, priced at $629.95 and $449.95 respectively. Shipping is scheduled to begin June 28, 2026.
