The event will take place from January 11 to January 13 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York. According to SOLUM, its presence at the show will focus on “Retail in Sync,” a strategy centered on integrating in-store data through its SOLUM Store Platform (SSP), which is designed to consolidate information from electronic shelf labels, AI cameras, digital signage, and in-store sensors into a single operational system.

SSP is intended to help retailers manage inventory, analyze customer traffic, and optimize marketing activities through a unified dashboard, moving beyond standalone device connectivity toward what it describes as “store intelligence.”

SOLUM plans to demonstrate its technology through four interactive experience zones at its NRF 2026 booth. These zones will focus on customer experience, operational efficiency, data monetization, and sustainability. Demonstrations will include AI-driven product recommendations, Bluetooth-based cart tracking for order fulfillment, retail media analytics tied to in-store traffic, and energy management systems that adjust lighting and HVAC usage based on occupancy.

SOLUM’s platform builds on more than 45 years of experience in wireless communication and electronic components, including technology heritage from its origins within Samsung Electro-Mechanics prior to spinning off in 2015. The company cites its proprietary Newton communication protocol and a global manufacturing footprint across Vietnam, Mexico, Brazil, India, and China as key elements supporting large-scale retail deployments.

“NRF 2026 is a pivotal moment for us to prove the maturity of our SSP platform to the world’s leading retailers. We aren't just showing technology; we are presenting a new standard for retail tech that simultaneously solves operational efficiency and profitability through the power of converged data,” said a spokesperson for SOLUM.

The company is currently engaged in proof-of-concept projects with major North American retailers and reports an order backlog valued at approximately KRW 2.2 trillion.
